چکیده

In encoderless Model Predictive Torque Control (MPTC) of three-phase Induction Motor (IM) drives, current sensors can face different electrical or mechanical faults in harsh industrial environments. this research, single-phase sensor Fault-Tolerant (FTC) method for MPTC IM drives without speed measurement using a flux linkage observer and Reference Adaptive System (MRAS) algorithm is proposed. the presented FTC method, Third-Difference operators, logic circuit module, observer, MRAS are utilized fault detection, isolation, estimation stator currents fluxes, estimation, respectively. comparison with conventional methods, proposed be drives. order to confirm usefulness possibility experimental studies performed 0.75 kW drive system situations. The achieved results demonstrate good performances technique during both normal faulty

Speed Observer Design for Linear Induction Motor Drives

In this paper, a neural network model reference adaptive system speed observer is designed, which can be used in speed control of linear induction motors (LIMs). Dynamical equations of LIM have been considered accurate. In other words, the end effect and the electrical losses of the motor have been included in the motor equivalent circuit. Then equations of the reference model and adaptive mode...

Adaptive Speed Control of Three-Phase Induction Servo-drives Based on Feedback Linearization Theory

In this paper, based on feedback linearization control method and using a special PI (propotational integrator) regulator (IP) in combination with a feed-forward controller, a three-phase induction servo-drive is speed controlled. First, an observer is employed to estimate the rotor d and q axis flux components. Then, two input-output state variables are introduced to control the dynamics of to...

Predictive-space vector PWM current control method for asymmetrical dual three-phase induction motor drives

The interest in multiphase drives has re-emerged in the last decade, being the asymmetrical dual threephase induction motor drive one of the most popular options. Predictive control techniques, already implemented in three-phase drives, have been recently adapted to the multiphase case. Schemes proposed so far have demonstrated high performance at the expenses of a higher degree of computationa...
